Sunset Park is Florissant's largest park with a beautiful view of the Missouri River. It is a wonderful 108-acre green space for walking, horseback riding, and hiking.

Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park. Sunset Park is connected to Sunset Greenway Trail, a 3.9-mile asphalt trail. They also have the Sunset Nature Lodge and a pavilion with a barbecue pit that can be rented for events.

Hendel's is a staple of Florissant’s food scene. The current business began in 1873 as a grocery store which was converted into a restaurant in 1994.
